Last June 25th, 20 more students received recognition for their outstandingacademic achievements, leadership and community service skills. The award Ceremony took place at the Marriot Hotel, where the students and their families, universities and P&G authorities, honored their effort and dedication.

Also, for the first time since Reto a la Excelencia started in Costa Rica, 11 university professors received public recognition for their commitment to education.

This year the winners were representatives of the UCR, ITCR,ULatina, Universidad Interamericana and ULACIT. They received a trophy, a scholarship for books, English or Computer Courses. Five of these students will represent our country at the International Leadership Seminar that will take place in Venezuela this July.

We are pleased to demonstrate our commitment to education one more time and by the fact that for every Reto a la Excelencia Award, one Costa Rican scholar will receive a scholarship through our sponsorship of the Mejores Estudiantes Program of the Minister of Education
